Pewter Large Oval Saint Joseph Medal, Patron Saint of Carpenters and Fathers
1-1/8 x 3-4 inch satin finish pewter large oval St. Joseph medal on a 24 inch stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features an image of Saint Joseph on the front, who is shown carrying Jesus as a child in his arms. On the top and bottom of the pendant are the words, "Saint Joseph Pray For Us" with two crosses on the left and right sides respectively. The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish. Includes a Saint Joseph card with his information, and is packaged in a poly bag with medal attached.
Saint Joseph is the husband of Mary, the mother of Jesus, and the earthly father of Jesus. Not much about him is known, however, he shepherded Mary to Bethlehem when she gave birth to Jesus. He is traditionally known as the Patron Saint of Carpenters, Fathers, Workers, Social Justice, and the Universal Church.
