3mm oval hematite faceted beads rosary with an antiqued silver plated crucifix and Madonna center. The centerpiece features an image of Mary with the words "O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee". The back of the centerpiece shows the symbol of the Sacred Heart. It is engraved with an "M" with a cross on the top and the "Sacred Hearts" underneath surrounded by twelve stars. The large "M" represents Mary as the mother. The left heart is the Sacred Heart and the right heart is the Immaculate Heart. The twelve stars represent the twelve apostles who formed the first church. The rosary chain measures 28 inches with a drop chain length of 5-3/4 inches. The crucifix measures 1-7/8 inches. Includes an elegant deluxe velour rosary jewelry box with two loops.
The Miraculous Medal, also known as the Medal of Our Lady of Grace, is a devotional medal, the design of which was originated by Saint Catherine Laboure following her apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The front side depicts Mary standing upon the globe, as the Queen of Heaven and Earth, as her feet crush the serpent representing Satan. It is meant to reference the dogma of the Immaculate Conception. The back refers to Mary's initial and the twelve stars represent the apostles, who also represent the Church.
