About Us

At Hurley’s we believe there is a better way to do business. Our goal is to bring you value. That does not mean that we will always be the cheapest, but we will have good quality for a fair price. We strive to find Christians who manufacture and are doing business in an ethical way. We push for social justice and fair treatment. We inspect our partners to ensure that they meet our core values and ethical treatment of employees. Change must start somewhere, and we believe that religious goods and church sales should stand for doing the right things in business.

Our Founders

Henry J. Hurley (Hank) decided to open a religious goods store in his home town of Fargo North Dakota in 1951. In 1974 Hank decided it was time to retire at the age of 65 and put the store up for sale. Don and Jeaninne McAllister decided to buy it and moved to Fargo in December of 1974 with their 2 young sons and Jeaninne pregnant with their daughter.

Our History

Don and Jeaninne bought a new building at 214 Broadway in 1976. In 1979 they expanded by purchasing the building next door. In 2008 Hurley’s moved again to a larger location to help accommodate our growth. The new building is 34,000 sq.

Don and Jeaninne expanded into making church furnishings in 1982. In 2005 we expanded our importing operations. We have always imported from Europe, we decided to add items from other places. We import marble, wood and clothing from all over the world.

Our Family

With passing of our Father Don, in 2015 Bridget and Mark have taken over running the business. Jeaninne still comes in almost everyday to visit. We are a family business who supports each other. We are knowledgeable and helpful. Feel free to contact any of us.

Bridget runs the day to day operations of the business. I am a mother of 5 children. My husband Ross and I are in a constant state of beautiful chaos with our children. It isn’t unusual to find kids around after school hours helping or hanging out. We truly are a family business.

Mark works on the importing, manufacturing and large projects. I am a father to 3 boys. They come to help some days after school. If you have ordered a shirt, they more than likely made assembled the box it came in.
